- Fast ≠ Scalable
Fast ≠ Scalable
Why rushing leads to bottlenecks, automation needs a goal, and AI ads still need human spark.

🧠 Insight Block — Urgency Without Infrastructure
When UA performance slips, the instinct is speed:
• Launch another channel
• Drop CPI bids
• Push the team harder
But speed without structure collapses.
Fragile setups.
Unclear reporting.
Burned-out teams.
Unless you’re in a winner-take-all market, the goal isn’t speed — it’s staying power.
Last longer. Build smarter. Operate with clarity.
The slow way is the fast way.
🧰 Vibe Tool — Workflow = Focus, Not Just Tools
End-to-end AI workflows are everywhere:
• GPT → Claude → Notion
• Ads Library scrapers → auto-taggers → dashboards
• n8n flows that “automate everything”
But without a goal, they don’t create progress — just complexity.
Here’s the principle I’m keeping in front of me:
Only build what solves your #1 bottleneck.
Not the coolest build.
Not what’s trending.
Just the one blocker that frees momentum.
Right now I’m testing ad flow automations — but every build starts with this:
Does this solve a real constraint, or just keep me busy?
🛰️ Field Notes — AI Creative ≠ Better Creative
AI creative underperforms UGC in most verticals.
Why?
• Users feel when an ad is machine-made
• Non-English VOs and robotic motion trigger rejections
• Even when performance is mid, AI ads sometimes get better algo treatment
The lesson:
AI ≠ better creative.
The winners? Hybrid campaigns where:
Human authenticity + AI efficiency = performance.
Use AI for leverage, not for connection.
This week reminded me how hard it is to stay with one thing.
I bounce between builds, dashboards, flows.
It feels like momentum — but often, it’s just avoidance.
Every time I gave a task 10 more focused minutes, progress appeared.
Not dramatic. But real.
The discipline isn’t speed.
It’s staying long enough for the work to open.
